About Me

Anthea, a seasoned and accredited Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, adds more than 20 years of experience to her Texas practice. Her journey in mental health began with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Her broad professional experience and comprehensive education enable her to provide individual and group therapy to a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, teens, and adults. Anthea has expertly treated a wide range of difficulties, including abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, family and marital problems, self-esteem, and trauma.

Anthea's approach revolves around creating a caring environment that is both safe and judgment-free. This space allows people to explore their real-life experiences and openly share their thoughts and feelings. Anthea is also enthusiastic about education and empowerment, as seen by her involvement in the Girl Empowerment Workshop Series, where she enjoys educating and motivating young people.
